Utah State University Wayne Estes Athletic Center

The Wayne Estes Athletic Center serves as the headquarters for Utah State University’s basketball and volleyball programs, consolidating practice, competition, training, and administrative functions within a single facility.

At the center of the project is a two-court gymnasium that converts from a practice venue to a competition court with seating for more than 1,400 spectators. The facility also includes dedicated offices for basketball and volleyball staff, meeting rooms, training and physical therapy areas, locker rooms, and ticket and concession spaces.

Built to support both daily athletic operations and competition-day activities, the facility brings together the resources required by student-athletes, coaches, and staff in one location. The building’s entrance incorporates elements that recognize the history and achievements of Utah State’s basketball and volleyball programs, connecting the new facility to the university’s athletic tradition.
